Current

A few days ago (I think I wrote this first in 2010 and it is now 2015) I decided to do a project called 100 cups of tea, based on the many cups of that elixir and the moments of enlightenment that those encounters have provided.  Unfortunately there is already a project with that name underway.

This has not deterred me from doing a project about tea or coffee.  I am trying to read Coffee in Japan by anthropologist Merry White.  I read parts of the book for my Master's thesis.

I have taken many photos of coffee and tea, but this drawing/painting over my Irish notes will be known as (1). It was drawn from life, over my Irish notes.  I am attempting to the do the complete cycle of Duolingo Irish; which has kept my mind from collapsing in on itself after finishing (turning in an unfinished thesis) the MA in November. I was learning past tense and the sentence B'ealaíontóir an fear (the man was an artist) came up and it reminded me that I was one until recently.
